Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties. Account information includes your name, email address, phone number, password, profile photo, and role (artist, client, company, or agent). Professional information includes licenses, certifications, specialties, portfolio images, bio, service descriptions, and pricing — provided by artists and agents when building profiles. Booking and transaction data includes booking dates, services requested, booking status, fees, invoices, and payout records. Payment information includes cardholder name, card type, and last 4 digits of card number. Full card numbers are transmitted directly to our payment processor (Worldpay / Authvia via CyberSource) and are never stored by Saqqara. Usage data is collected automatically via cookies and server logs, including pages visited, features used, session duration, device type, browser, and IP address. Artists and locations may also upload professional documents — licenses, insurance certificates, health permits, CE certificates — to the platform's Document Vault. Live stream data includes viewer counts, gift transactions, and comments generated during broadcasts.
We use the information we collect to: create and manage your account and profile; process bookings, payments, and payouts; facilitate communication between artists, clients, companies, and agents; verify professional licenses, certifications, and documents; display featured listings, search results, and platform recommendations; send transactional emails including booking confirmations, payout notifications, and platform updates; enforce our Terms of Service, Artist Platform Agreement, and other applicable policies; detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity; comply with legal obligations including tax reporting (Form 1099 where applicable); and improve, analyze, and develop the platform and its features. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may share your information in the following circumstances. With other platform users: artist profile information (name, photo, specialty, ratings, availability) is visible to clients, companies, and agents as part of normal platform operation. Client contact information is shared with artists for confirmed bookings. With service providers: we share data with third-party vendors who assist in operating the platform, including payment processors (Worldpay / Authvia via CyberSource), cloud hosting providers (Microsoft Azure), and communication services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services for us. For legal compliance: we may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Saqqara, our users, or the public. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction — we will notify you via email and prominent platform notice before any such transfer.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze platform usage. You may control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to use certain platform features, including staying logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell browsing data to advertisers.
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, and access controls limiting who within Saqqara can access personal data. Payment card data is handled exclusively by our PCI-compliant payment processor (Worldpay / Authvia via CyberSource) and is never stored on Saqqara's servers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law. Tax records and transaction data are retained for seven years as required by applicable law.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information: Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you; Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information; Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements; Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format; Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Transactional emails related to your bookings and account cannot be opted out of while your account is active. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@saqqarallc.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CPRA"). These rights include: the right to know what personal information we collect, the sources of that information, and how it is used and shared; the right to access and obtain a portable copy of your personal information (exercise via your Privacy Dashboard at /dashboard/privacy or by emailing privacy@saqqarallc.com); the right to delete your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations (exercise via your Privacy Dashboard); the right to correct inaccurate personal information (exercise via your account profile); the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (exercise at /do-not-sell or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal); the right to limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information (see Section 15); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising any of the foregoing rights. Saqqara does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do use Google Ads conversion tracking, which under CPRA may be classified as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of that with a single click at /do-not-sell. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals automatically — see Section 14. We respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days, with one 45-day extension where reasonably necessary. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
The platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected information from a person under 18 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us at privacy@saqqarallc.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
For questions, concerns, or requests related to this Privacy Policy or your personal data, contact us at privacy@saqqarallc.com. General support: support@saqqarallc.com. Written correspondence: Saqqara LLC, Florida, Osceola County.
On your first visit to the platform you will see a cookie consent banner with four categories: Essential, Functional, Analytics, and Advertising. Essential cookies are required for sign-in, security, payments, and bookings and are not optional. Functional cookies remember your UI preferences such as theme. Analytics cookies record aggregate, anonymous usage to help us improve the platform. Advertising cookies enable Google Ads conversion tracking; under California and other state privacy laws this category constitutes "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may change your selection at any time by clearing site data for saqqarallc.com (which re-prompts the banner) or by visiting /do-not-sell. Your choice is recorded in our ConsentLogs audit table with the timestamp, source (user click or Global Privacy Control signal), and policy version, so we can demonstrate when and how each user gave or withdrew consent.
When your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal (the Sec-GPC HTTP header or navigator.globalPrivacyControl property), Saqqara automatically records a "reject all non-essential" consent decision on your behalf. The consent banner is not shown, and Advertising and Analytics cookies are disabled. This satisfies the California Privacy Rights Act §7025 requirement, and matching obligations in Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other states that recognize universal opt-out mechanisms. The decision is logged with source = "gpc" so an audit can verify the signal was honored.
Under CPRA, "Sensitive Personal Information" includes categories such as government identifiers (Social Security number, driver's license, state ID, passport), precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, contents of mail/email/messages where Saqqara is not the intended recipient, biometric information used for unique identification, health/sex-life data, and account log-in combined with password. Saqqara collects only the following categories of SPI: account log-in credentials (stored as one-way hashes, never plaintext) and identification documents that artists and locations voluntarily upload for professional license verification (cosmetology license, business license, insurance certificate). We use SPI solely to provide the services you request, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use SPI to infer characteristics about you. You have the right to limit our use of your SPI to the foregoing purposes — Saqqara already does this by default, so no separate request is required. We do not sell or share SPI for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you are a resident of Virginia (Consumer Data Protection Act), Colorado (Privacy Act), Connecticut (Data Privacy Act), Utah (Consumer Privacy Act), Texas (Data Privacy and Security Act), or another state with an active comprehensive privacy law, you have rights substantially similar to those described in Section 08, including access, deletion, portability, correction, and opt-out of targeted advertising and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. To exercise any of these rights, use your Privacy Dashboard at /dashboard/privacy (account-holders) or email privacy@saqqarallc.com (anyone). We respond within 45 days. You may appeal an adverse decision by emailing the same address with "Appeal" in the subject line; we will respond to appeals within 60 days. Saqqara does not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on consumers, and does not process personal data of known children under 18.
Saqqara uses an AI system ("Aurora") to help operate and improve the platform. Aurora analyzes aggregated, anonymized platform metrics — such as overall booking conversion rates, stream frequency patterns, gift volume trends, and error log summaries — to identify opportunities to improve performance and user experience. Aurora never processes individual user data, personally identifiable information, biometric data, health data, or message content. All data Aurora reads is aggregated before access, meaning no individual's activity can be identified or attributed. Aurora generates improvement proposals that are always reviewed and approved by Saqqara staff before any change is implemented. Aurora cannot take actions that directly affect individual users, such as banning accounts, adjusting user-level pricing, or accessing private communications. Aurora also assists in generating branded marketing assets (such as promotional images for livestreams and platform announcements) using pre-approved templates. These assets do not contain any user data. The AI system is powered by the Anthropic Claude API. Anthropic's data processing is governed by Anthropic's terms and privacy policy. Saqqara has reviewed applicable data processing requirements and ensures that no personal data is transmitted to Anthropic's API — only anonymized platform-level metrics and template generation instructions.
Last updated May 18, 2026 — added Sections 12 (Cookie Categories), 13 (Global Privacy Control), 14 (Sensitive Personal Information), 15 (Other State Privacy Laws), and updated Section 08 for CPRA. Pending final legal review. Saqqara LLC reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time with notice as described in Section 10.
